This photograph shows Maud Pearce, born 1889 and one of the six children of Charles Pearce of Pilton House, in about 1910. She was the fourth child of Charles with his wife Elizabeth Annie, the other children being Lucy (b. 1885), Charles (b. 1886), John (b. 1888), Arthur (b. 1891) and May (b. 1893).
Maud went on to marry Albert Smith and they had two daughters, Aileen and Diana.
Thanks to Sue Pearce for this photograph. Sue is her neice by marriage to Arthur Richard Blackford Pearce, known as Dick, the son of Arthur.
