Until 1965 Barnstaple Fire Station was located at the Barnstaple end of Pilton Causeway. This photograph shows some of those attending the Barnstaple Station Fire Brigade Christmas Dinner in 1963.
From left to right, they are: Mrs Dibble, Mrs Lynne Barnes, Fireman Roy Barnes, Fireman Joe Hedden, Mrs Hedden, Mrs Mock and Sub-Officer Harold Mock.
