Keith Laity has sent The Pilton Story this picture from September 1954 taken on Pilton Quay across the road from The Cottages (the end Cottage can be seen in the rear). He does not know the name of the blonde haired boy on the left but the other two are his brother Robert Laity and Ian Cox. His father George, his mother Jean and his older brother Robert moved to live at 6 Pilton Quay Cottages in 1952. Many thanks to Keith for letting us have this second glimpse of life in Pilton in the 1950s.
