Description:
This aerial view of the River Yeo and Rolle Quay from the late 1980s shows the Inner Relief Road (completed 1986) and, bottom right, the Civic Centre (foundation stone laid in 1967). In the centre of the picture is Brunswick Wharf, which was still being used for unloading materials from barges, and top left is the Rawle, Gammon & Baker (RGB) yard which moved to Pottington in 2005.
