Description:
This photograph, presented by Harold Murch, was taken during a Pilton School visit to Pilton Bridge Garage in about 1952. At that time it was a splendid Art Deco building which wasn't replaced until the 1960s. The Garage had a parrot with rather coarse language and you had to block your ears if it was about!
