This photograph was taken outside Pilton Church south door - the donation box for the upkeep of the churchyard has long gone. The photograph was presented to The Pilton Story by Harold Murch who estimates that, as he was at Grammar School (he can tell from the socks), it must have been taken in 1954 or 1955.
Those in the photograph are from another family of Norman brothers - in front Maxwell (Maxi), then Geoffrey and Roderick (Roddy) and then Harold Murch to whom, many thanks are due for bringing the photograph to our attention.
