This picture was taken in the porch of St Mary's Church, Pilton in 1968. It was sent to the Pilton Story by Jan Cashin (formerly Huxtable) whose family lived at 82, Pilton Street. Jan is far right at the back.
Jan and Deborah Gahan remember the names as: Back Row l-r: Grace Feland, Sarah Greenhalgh, Nicholas Greenhalgh, Jan Huxtable; Front row - Suzanne and Beverley Rennles (twins), Angela Hawkins and David Charters. Mr Mules is behind in the spectacles. The children appear to have in their hands what might be Sunday School books. However, Deborah Gahan wondered if it had anything to do with Post Office savings which they did every week and if Mr Mules was the Postmaster. If you remember anything, do let us know.
Any further names or information would be gratefully received by The Pilton Story at submissions@thepiltonstory.org.
Thanks to Jan Cashin and Deborah Gahan for the names.
