Children attending Pilton School in 1948. The school building is next to Pilton Church and is now home to the Pilton Art Group and David Wilson's architect practice. Local children had their classes there until 1968 before the building of the Bluecoat School in Abbey Road. Thank you, John Norman, for the picture.
