Description:
Keith Laity has sent The Pilton Story this picture was taken at the bottom of Reform Street in April 1953 with the Reform Inn in the background. His father George, his mother Jean and his older brother Robert moved to live at 6 Pilton Quay Cottages in 1952. In this photograph : at the rear from left to right, Ian Cox, Pam Bates and Mary Chugg and at the front Robert Laity and Martin Sanders.
Many thanks to Keith for letting us have this glimpse of life in Pilton in the 1950s.
