Keith Laity has sent The Pilton Story this picture of himself aged 17 months with his father George Laity. It was taken in the front yard of No. 6 Pilton Quay Cottages on 2nd July 1955. Berry’s Yard is clearly visible in the background. His father George, his mother Jean and his older brother Robert moved to live at 6 Pilton Quay Cottages in 1952. Many thanks to Keith for letting us have this third glimpse of life in Pilton in the 1950s.
