This is a photo of the Pilton Primary School football team of 1965. Mr Morrish was the teacher that was responsible for developing football at the school in the mid sixties. He arranged games against the nearby private school, St Christopher's, together with matches against Bluecoat, Forches and Pilton Primary Old Boys. The picture taken on a sunny day in front of the school entrance shows 15 boys who, Keith Laity remembers, had to put their football kit on just for the photo and then return to class.
