This is a photo of The Rock, Pilton, thought to have been taken in the 1930s from opposite Rock House. The area looks rather run down.
The cottage on the right No 75 was lived in by Miss Annie Bowden, ex-school mistress and choir member, and was demolished in the 1960s. The doorway on the right, now access to the electricty sub-station, led to Prospect Cottage which is now reached through a new doorway where No 75 stood.
