One of three groups of pictures of the Wellington family, ancestors of Paul ( m Kathy) and their children Rachel and Sarah. This group shows (top left) Paul's father, Ted Wellington and grandfather, Edward George Wellington, at the latter's house, 118 Pilton Street. Top right is Paul's father, Ted and his mother, Thelma (b. O'Sullivan). Ted, who was a former Post Office telegram delivery boy, graduated through his interest in radio to the Royal Corps of Signals, intercepting signals during the war for Bletchley Park, then went on to solve television interference issues after the war. Bottom right shows Edward George and his wife Ellen (b.Ellis,) Paul's grandmother, one of 11 children of Charles Knight Ellis and Jane Ellis, who all lived at Elm Cottage, Pilton. Bottom left shows Ellen (nan Wellington) in later life with her sister, Daisy.
