One of three groups of pictures of the Wellington family, ancestors of Paul (m. Kathy) and their children Rachel and Sarah . Top left is Paul's great-grandfather Charles Knight Ellis who, with his wife Jane, lived with their 11 children in Elm Cottage, Pilton, at the junction of the two lanes leading to Bellaire and Nursery End. The boys were Charles, James, Alf, John, William, Tom and George. The four girls of that family are shown top right, Mary Ann, Emily Jane, Ellen and Daisy. It was Ellen, who married Edward Wellington, Paul's grandfather (bottom left) and they lived at 118 Pilton Street (bottom right).
