Description:
This advertisement for the Raleigh Sanitary Steam Laundry was found in 'The Barnstaple Book of Cookery' published in 1914. In the book there is a description: "The Barnstaple book of cookery published in aid of The Mayor's Samaritan Fund, containing tried and tested recipes collected by the under-mentioned ladies, and arranged by Mrs A. J. Reavell." It was published by A.E. Barnes of Barnstaple.
