These photographs are of Len Lake during World War II. He was clearly in the RAF. After the war he had a butcher's shop with his wife Blanche at the Pilton end of Boutport Street. They later lived at 98 Pilton Street. Len and Blanche Lake were the paternal grandparents of Mike Lake, musician of Pilton.
