This photograph was kindly sent to us by Jan Cashin, daughter of Maurice Huxtable. It shows the May Queen at the Pilton House May Fayre, possibly in 1964.

The May Queen, in the centre being crowned with flowers, was Angela Hooper, now Angela Sequiera. Jan Cashin is the attendent on the farthest left with, she believes, Susan Behan next to her. On the other side of the May Queen it is, she believes, Susan Fry and Elizabeth Foster. All of them were in the same class at Pilton Infant School.
On the back row are Stan Williams (on the left) and his wife, second from the right, and in the centre is Miss Harper crowning the May Queen. Thanks to the May Queen, Angela Sequiera, for the names of the adults.
