This story from the North Devon Journal tells how the 'ton-up' team of rugby stars from Pilton School were so good they scored more than 100 points on three different occasions while beating Bideford, South Molton and Chulmleigh schools. Neil Kevin David Smith reminded us of their success and asked what happened to the rest of the guys after he left town in 1982 and never came back due to work (apart from occasional holiday trips). Neil met up with a few of the team last year at the 50th birthday school reunion. "It was nice to see them and other school mates after 30+ years," he said.
