Description:
The grocer's in the middle of Pilton Street in the early days of proprietorship by Geoff and Heather Dwyer, next door to the green grocers, at the time owned and run by Phil Cobley, brother of Bob Cobley, the newsagent in Pilton Street. Picture taken about 1990.
The yellow doorway on the left of the picture is where the milk cart was kept by Pilton's milkman who is reported as being Mr Jeffries in the 1950s. Thanks to Geraldine Chapple and Susan Hands for this information.
