Pictures

This group of recorder players was photographed outside Pilton C of E School in June 1967. Six of the members - on the right hand side - played their recorders at a Music Festival in the Queens Hall, Barnstaple, in March 1968. They are Linda Jones, Caren Symons, Jane Newton, David Sellward, Jane Baker and Janet Coates although we haven't clearly identified which is which.
Deborah Gahan subsequently identified more of the children as follows (??? unknown and ? uncertain):
Back row – Susan Behan, ???, ???, Elizabeth Forster, Karin Rutter(? see below), Susan Jones
Middle row – Jackie Fisher (?), Nesta Dalziel, June Young, Sophia Psaltis, Ian Morris, Julia Fenton, Deborah Bennett, Janet Baker
Front row – Jackie Symons (?), Janet Coates, Susan Jones, Karen Symons, Jane Newton, David Selwood.
Deborah Gahan identified Karin Rutter because she always played the big recorder.
