This picture was circa 1938 and is of the North Devon branch of the Royal Devon Yeomanry Artillery. It is taken in Pilton Park, and we believe the buildings in the background are the old Rawle Gammon and Baker warehouses. The photograph was kindly brought in to The Pilton Story by Mr Richard Thorne whose father is in the middle row and 3rd from the right - Battery Sergeant Major E A Thorne.
