Four employees of the Pilton Glove Factory are here celebrating victory at the end of the Second World War in 1945 in what is now Rotary Gardens, Pilton. The new North Road (built 1938) can be seen in the background. Left to right they are Jean Gaydon, Pat Folland, Jennie Hobbs and May Brannam (nee Hill who married Jim Brannam in 1939 and later re-married and became May Knott).
