This is a screenshot taken from the 1982 Pilton Festival film made by Clifford Davies showing the Barnstaple Concert Band. The Pilton residents among the players are - Derek Hart, first on the left in the front row playing Flute, Roy Slade (front row third from right) and Ken Ashby ( front row fourth from right) both playing Clarinet. The Conductor and Musical Director of the band was Ken Short.
