This is a photo of Barnstaple Town Football Club, the date thought to be about 1958/59. Barnstaple Town plays at Pottington which falls within the area covered by The Pilton Story.

From the sign, we understand it appears to be a year they won the Westward Ho cup if anyone has access to Club records.

Those identified include Frankie Shapland (4th from left standing), Vernon Morrish (4th from left, front row), Brian Symons (middle of second row), Charlie Hulland (to the left of Brian Symons), Freddie Smale (centre of front row behind the trophies and presumably the Club Captain), Mike Williams (to the left of Freddie Smale), Ray 'Grampy' Smith (behind and to the right of Freddie Smale), John Williams (2nd from right, front row) and Frank Ovey (front row, first on right).
