This photograph shows the Pilton Festival Committee with the RAF Community Plate which they won in 2004.
The RAF Community Plate was presented to Barnstaple Town Council by RAF Chivenor in 1974, to be awarded annually to an individual or group deemed by the Council to have made a contribution to the wellbeing of the community of Barnstaple.
The Committee, from left to right, are Albert Linacre, Maureen McDonald, Abigail Winfield, Pip Cartmell, Heather Dwyer, Richard Stevens, Joan Spear, John Norman, Shaun Winfield, John Spear and Stan Lane.
