The Pilton Story Community Heritage Project, to give it its full title, started to take shape after a community gathering in Pilton Church Hall in 2008 to which North Devon Council brought officers and members so that local people could voice their hopes and fears for Pilton and Bradiford.
Taking the names of those interested in our heritage was Alison Mills, the Museums Development Manager, eager to help the villages save and celebrate their history. She chaired the first meeting of everyone who signed up and has supported the idea ever since. She explained why to Richard Howe......
