Listed businesses that have now disappeared include dairies in Bradiford, on Bellaire, Littabourne and Rolle's Quay and in Pilton Street, a seed merchant on Pilton Quay and coal merchants on Pilton Quay and Rolle's Quay, a laundry on Littabourne, boot repairers in Fair View, Yeo Vale and Pilton Street, three bakers on Pilton Street and one in Pottington, one Public House (the New Inn in Pilton Street which is the thumbnail image for this item), nurses on St George's Road and Pottington Road, an agricultural engineer, a tailor, and two butchers on Pilton Street, the Braunton Road Service Station and a Riding School on Fair View - to mention just a few.
