This Pilton Green Man Festival Programme for 2013 shows how far Pilton Festival has developed as an event, with music, crafts, food and activities in Pilton Street and also in Rotary Gardens. Widely considered to have been "the best Festival yet", the 2013 Festival was blessed with very warm weather and Rotary Gardens, recently improved by North Devon Council, provided the ideal setting for relaxing and enjoying it. Notwithstanding its wider popularity, Pilton Festival remains a non-profitmaking event principally for the people of Pilton.
Year 10 graphic design students from Pilton Community College were invited to redesign the Festival Programme. The winner was Max Locker. In the programme he is shown with Andrew Swales of Toptown Printers holding the front cover of the winning design. Toptown Printers invited Max and the other students to see the programme go from conceptual stage to final artwork and print.
