Sinbad was produced in the Chichester Arms pub in PIlton Street and had been directed by Hamish Patrick. Albert Linacre made the costumes with a team of helpers and the set was built by Ken Gaunt of Furnfix. The props were designed by Noel Harley. The title role was taken by Tim Saunders, who also painted the scenery to great effect. Proceeds from this production by the locals were given to: Pathfield School, Adult Gateway Club, North Devon Hospice, Children's Hospice South West, The Pauline Gleave Garden Fund, North Devon Animal Ambulance (D.I.A.N.A.) and the Tsunami Appeal. This was the 9th Pilton Panto.
