The fourth edition of the Pilton 'Stars in Your Eyes' saw a packed Pilton Church Hall and a brilliant display of talent on the evening of 17th May 2008. Produced by Odd Couple Productions – aka Helen Clark-Hayton and Ced Piper - to raise money for charities, this year's challenge featured fourteen wannabe stars and compere Tom Prideaux.
The winner was Carly Jeffery as Duffy, sponsored by Philip Milton & Company, with Angela Bellamy and Karen Marshall second as The Weather Girls, sponsored by Quay Maintenance, and Angie Luxton as Eva Cassidy third, sponsored by Fernfix Fitted Kitchens. The other competitors were Ian Heath as Anthony Kiedis, sponsored by the Yeo Dale Hotel, Hannah Rogers as Amy Winehouse, sponsored by M & R Marquees, Gina Rogers as Carly Simon, sponsored by The Wrey Arms, Keith Allen as King Louis with Don Hearn on guitar, sponsored by RGB Building Supplies, Bev Neighbour as Edith Piaf, sponsored by The Reform Inn, Darren Maidment as Robbie Williams, sponsored by M R Stowell Accountants, Matthew Dearle as David Gray, sponsored by Barum Brewery, Angus Basil as Johnny Preston sponsored by The Pilton Fryer, Kris Langmead as Justin Hawkins, sponsored by Pilton Bridge Services, and Kevin Hayton as Roger Whitaker, sponsored by Crossways B&B.
