In August 1993 a souvenir issue of the Pilton with Ashford (Parish) Magazine, edited by Dr Howard Bluett, was prepared to record the brilliant events of the annual Pilton Festival held in July. It was clearly a particularly good year and also a good time generally, the 20 page magazine being crammed with 9 pages of advertisements, 2 pages of photographs of the Festival plus the usual parish and village news. A summary of the great time had came from the vicar, Rev John Spear, with descriptions of all the events, extracts from the Church registers, and Church notices for Pilton and Ashford Churches.
