Mary Passmore's grandparents - Jane and William Bartlett - lived at 8 Pilton Quay (behind the cottage at the front which is 1 Pilton Street) here in the cottage at the foot of Pilton Street. The view is looking towards the River Yeo and Pilton Park. These two cottages were demolished in the 1960s. The cottage to the right of 1 (2 Pilton Street) has been a takeaway food shop in recent years. This is where the Pilton Mosaic now graces the end wall. The blue, tiled 'Pilton Street' sign is now on 2 Pilton Street.
