The St Mary's Church Burial Registers, Graveyard Plan and Index were compiled by Francesca Ross with assistance from John Norman. They were first completed in 2008 and have been updated since with the more recent burials. The image shown is an extract from the Graveyard Plan which has a total of 358 plots. However, there are records of burials with no corresponding memorial and references on memorials which have no counterpart in the burial registers. The Church has invited corrections and additions so that the record is more complete and accurate.

The Index is based on the inscriptions on the gravestones and the Burial Registers. Because of deterioration of some of the gravestones, some names and dates may have been incorrectly transcribed. Burials are indexed both alphabetically and by plot number. The memorials inside the Church are not included.
