This photograph of Barnstaple Rugby Football Club in Pottington in 1946 was posted on Facebook by Stuart Ackland. His dad, Frederick, is in front row fourth from the left. Next to him is the legendary Bert Jones, a farmer from Bishop's Tawton, who is thought to have played for England.
Others identified in the photograph include Anthea Emmons' father, Freddie Fewings, and her grandfather, William Fewings (the trainer), who were apparently both known as Bungy.
We will endeavour to complete these identifications and would be pleased to have any more.
